No Response from Allocated Project

i have been allocated to a project, but no one from the project has connected with me yet. When I asked RMG, he mentioned that someone from the project would contact me to schedule a client interview. It has been a week since then, but there has been no communication. I also sent a follow-up email to RMG, but I haven’t received any response. Meanwhile, I have received another opportunity where they are ready to proceed with the allocation. I am unsure how to proceed in this situation. What to do? I may miss the other opportunity
