Trending @Cognizant; No respect to Female employees in Cognizant
Cognizant as a company has been proved very disappointing to me..they do not respect or consider anything specially to a female employee...I have been released from the project for not being able to work from the Hyderabad location due to my parents medical condition...when I requested them to allow me work from the Mumbai office just they said yes you can work from there using flexi seat option ..when I explored flexi seat it was available only for one shift that is general shift....so manager explained that if someone asks you to leave the place which is very rare than you can work from confrence room too....which was weird for me but accepted it but when asked them to provide me a night shift cab...they didn't do anything about it and simply informed me about the release.... providing a female a night shift cab is impossible in Cognizant??? Management never helped me on this matter and it was a traumatic experience for the last 1 year where I am only asked about the RTO.....
It was a risky decision to join cognizant where they don't care about the employees'safety, especially women....
Plus now they are asking me to also give KT to the new Guy......what they feel is no one watching their actions....I hope the same happens to this project...
Today I am suffering tomorrow all will go through the same situation.....who laugh on our situation.
Common!!!! Taking out frustration on project or management is ok but making a statement like this is not ok. Cognizant is one of company which respects female employees and as given equal opportunities to female as well.
And it's every one's responsibility to give kt while leaving from project, you have control over that part 😜 you know what I mean
Manager can’t do much. When a project is given a ODC in a particular location the transport team will tag the project and enable shift timings. Just for one employee it cannot be done. If the manager didn’t help with base location or the project had a ODC and functioning from Mumbai then you have a point. Even in my base location the transport team did not enable cab timings based on project requirements. My manager tried his best and got approvals from BAU side and still transport team couldn’t facilitate cause they operate based on what benefits the entire location and have their own policy.
@Manuspa It really depends up on the project on the cab approval, but still they should’ve provided you a cab at nights…🙂
KT is a mandatory thing that everyone will be giving to the replacement of you..
Bench situation in cognizant is worst, upskill and search for the job..
