8moNo promotion while being in the same company
I have 8+ yoe and have not got any promotion while being in the same company. Is this bad sign for my career? Still I have changed companies and got the promotion.

Pretty bad tbh. Usually you should target promotion every 3-4 yrs or switch. If you are not getting this then either you are not keeping up with pace of being sabotaged for being loyal.

Didn't understood it. I tried getting promotion with target of 2-3 years than I didn't get it and than changed the company with higher position.
