No promotion after 5.8 yrs

I had worked in an account in TCS for almost 2 years my overall experience is 5.8 yrs. I was expecting promotion but since I was going on maternity leave hence my project released me and gave C band(tried connecting to manager and HR no one responded and gave me any reason for reducing my band). Now again I rejoined TCS after maternity leave.Will I be able to get a promotion in my next project or will the C band affect my promotion
