Trending @Accenture; No promotion
Just got a confirmation from my manager no promotion would be there. No budget..
All the budget these people have kept for female employees. Pathetic
Because accenture has 40-50% reservation for female employees. Also my promotion was due last cycle and i didn’t get and other girl got it who merely completed a year. I was much more qualified and experienced than her. I was denied promotion last time to that they don’t have budget for male employee for level 9
@NinjaCorp oh is it.... I m not aware of these things...bcoz in my project...nothing will be discussed with us....I am an analyst since June 2022 with MAL=22 , CAN I HAVE ANY CHANCE FOR MID YEAR PROMOTION TO SSE ??? FOR THIS JUNE????
You need to discuss with your manager. You would get to know by his/her way of response. If you are not getting promoted then there would be someone else within your project who would be promoted.
It's not like based on gender guys. Even I have been promised from my supervisor that I will prompted to next level this June and I accept support project meanwhile I got a good offer from outside and I decided to put papers. As soon as my manager knew he had a discussion with me and then he told.w he will come back after discussion with leadership about the chances of promotion. And surprise they told the truth there are no hikes no promotion this June you have to wait till November. Such scams are happening please leave Accenture if you get good offer.

It is not like that, if there are two openings under your DU lead, one will be for a male employee and another would be for a female employee. If your DU lead has multiple projects then a male employee in another project would have gotten preference over you based on multiple factors e.g. MAL, proficiency, training hours, visibility, rating, etc. and the female employee within your project would have gotten preference over another eligible employee based on these factors. I say this from my experience in Accenture.
This is true but from last few years female employees are given priority over male employees as accenture has a plan to have 50% female employees in leadership role to achieve there diversity goal by 2025
Nope, at least in our project female employees are given more preference...Even the female employees agree to this fact
Because of diversity, Accenture reserves some promotion for female employees across level last year in my project female employees were promoted upto SM level

I have experienced the same , it was given to a female employee who has less eligibility than me when compared between me and her.

Yes it's a bitter truth my manager also confirmed that there is always a different quota when it comes to promotion because of gender diversity priority is given to women employees.
That is unfair. Even in private companies like Accenture they are reservations/Quotas , they should look the deserving one and not the age and sexuality.
