I would suggest you raise a case with the payroll team to get clarity. While many people might be impacted, it doesn't always mean your reason is the same and it is better to get a clarification from the official team on this. I had a PF issue and the payroll team helped me figure it out. The case went on for almost 15 months due to the processes with the EPFO department but finally got it sorted and is reflecting in my passbook correctly now.
