Trending @Cognizant; No more traditional hikes in future?
We can see most of the companies giving a very less hike percentage from last few years, mostly in all service based companies. Do we think is that the same goes in future as well because AI infra needs a lot money. What you think guys?

Due to the following reasons , I don't think this trend will continue in the future.
What if service based IT companies try to follow new trends (delaying a hike /not giving a hike/ giving very less hike) very effectively in future ?
PROS :
1)Immediate cost savings 2)Higher profit margins 3)Ability to take low-cost projects 4)Avoids budget shocks
CONS :
1)Increased attrition 2)Constant loss of skilled workforce 3)Rising cost of hiring replacements 4)Reduced employee motivation 5)Reputation damage in the job market 6)Difficulty attracting top talent 7)Lower innovation and slow transformation 8)Risk of losing clients due to quality issues 9)Creates a “cheap labor” brand image 10)Future talent shortage

By using AI , nowadays developers are completing 10 days assigned work into 2 days. That’s companies are also getting less funds from client against the projects. That’s the reason the increments are going to be less in futures

Instead just switch and get 25-40 hike at least
