Trending @Capgemini; No job in IT!?

Is the IT in India dying? people are getting laid off , hiring frozen, no much opening...what is actually it's status?

It's just the current market condition. Things will improve or get worse based on the current market. But don't think IT will die India, not anytime soon atleast.

IT will never go down in India because there are lots of possibilities. The market is down due to world wide conditions. The Indian IT market depends on outsourcing once things go up then we will see improvement.

True, things are hard currently but it will improve for sure

Now IT will not remain same as earlier if at present 60 lakhs working in IT then might be only 20 lakhs will be working so competitive market will continue on salary expectations will be decreasing as technological advancement progressing towards automation etc.

IT market is going through a correction phase. Companies are reducing their bloating. They are restructuring so they can invest more in adopting emerging technologies to make the stakeholders & client happy. A very small example of this is like Capgemini is focusing on GenAI as this what clients wants to adapt.
