No Instagram? No Dosti? 😩
Ever felt like friendships are now "Instagram or bust"? Posting stories, reels, and filtered lives while real bonds fade into "seen" zones. For introverts skipping FB & IG, is maintaining old friends or making new ones impossible? Are non-Insta folks seen as "unworthy" or out of the loop? Spill your truth!
My Story: Lost in the Scroll, Found on YouTube Picture this: An introvert (me) who zoned out on Facebook by endless feeds, pokes, what even? Never got it. Then Instagram exploded: perfect vacations, gym glow-ups, "couple goals" everywhere. Felt like a ghost watching from afar, FOMO hitting hard as group plans vanished into DMs and stories. Kept feeling lost, sidelined, unworthy without a profile to prove my life was "lit."
Finally, epiphany: YouTube is the real haven. No pressure to post, just soak in tutorials, deep dives, and vibes that actually nourish the soul. But you can't make dosti on youtube.
Can offline folks thrive? Or is IG the new gatekeeper? Grapevine fam your thoughts!
I don't have insta..tele..fb...ect, I'm not using from past one and half year also i explored many apps like language learning apps and I'm here ...I saw this app in LinkedIn...so thorough to explore..better be in reality and prioritize yourself first... Now I have only one friend (present) what to who matchy vibe...if she is with me I laugh alot and we do crigy things together 🙌🏼😌
I don't think so. You can still have good frnds without being on insta.
I prefer in-person meetups rather than trusting anyone on social media like IG etc
Instagram is more like the showcase we have in our home. People put their best in there. Its good if u are making money about of it or else its just taking your time out
