Trending @Accenture; No hike/promotion = No RTO. Make it clear to your leadership
Rising Inflation and cost of living in metro cities with 3 year old salaries is eating away at any current & future savings. IT employees here are living salary to salary. Add to that 2 constant threats/swords hanging over our necks = revenue loss due to DOGE & AI. This is mental trauma.
FYI Accenture again won best place to work in India, so everything is rigged. 🤷
Accept it, government doesn't care. Also, they have shown time and again they won't act and ignore employee issues.
People in USA will get their inflation & cost of living adjusted pay as per their laws, so even leaders sitting in USA don't care what happens in India.
Its best to look out for yourselves now. Return home, save lakhs of rupees every year, which itself will act as a hike. Bonus is more time with your aging and dependent parents for which HR rejected your exception.
I raised this argument to multiple levels last year, but they did not provide counter arguments and kept repeating the same HR feeded line, "it's Accenture policy, please RTO."
TLDR: After 3 years of struggle, urge you to look out for yourselves and WFH if no hikes/promotions in June.

Will something happen if we don't go to office

Not even the HR knows answer to this. Nobody is told anything as they are testing the waters, how employees react, how many succumb to their threats.
When they want to screw the employees, like pay no hikes, give no promotions, start layoffs, they will use this as a reason I believe.

Now a days started feeling to hit Accenture HR and management with sandals, the way they are responding.
Bitting the tongue and keeping quite is because of huge home loan pending.
Want to run away from this hell, again 3 months np issue, Not in a position to resign and then try.
Earn payment send to bank for emi and then children sky rocking school and van fees.
It's like mental prision.

Sab revolt karo, show less presence now onwards , but some first bencher from school time , they will start going more and more to get in limelight and trying to get good hike in december.
I have seen my manager put his status in teams like - i am in lift, i just reached, am about to leave, now i m going to washroom and will be back in 7 secs.

Your manager would be the first one to get laid off

December is a year away. Person who waits for December will forever keep waiting. It will always be next cycle. Let them wait and get disappointed like we have been for 3 years now.
But for now, go. Don't give them a chance to say because of breaking policy you get nothing...... When in June even after following all your rules we got nothing, we can stop.

Why can't we just file a petition against Accenture atleast to do wfo from any location or do a WFo in single stretch for a month instead of travelling every week. For my project we don't have a whole team sitting at the same location it's spread across all locations in India. Then what's the point of going to the office every week.

I am in same situation, WFO is pointless in such cases. But they don't understand.
We need someone with good influence and legal support to start publically action now (because government is useless). Like foodpharmer did for food industry. Shake them up and get the ball rolling. IT industry has so many employees, there will be support.

I have never went to Accenture office till date, neither my supervisor goes to the office. It's just that attendance email lands to our inbox and we promptly delete it.

Yes, you speak the truth. They are not even allowing employees to go to a nearby city office or complete their mandatory office days in one stretch. Some companies, like Infosys, allow employees to work from any office location. Why can’t Accenture do the same if they expect employees to attend the office?
At least we can save on accommodation and food costs per se, but other expenses will still be there.
I’m not sure what they are expecting from us or what they are gaining by enforcing this policy. I wonder—if all of us avoid going to the office, what will they do? They can’t terminate all of us or take any action.
It's high time we react and push for changes in India's labor laws.

Nowadays they don't just allow wfh/lop leaves even for a medical issue. HR rejected wfh by saying, on this ground we can't approve your wfh, you should adhere to company's wfo policy without fail.
I somehow managed to convince them for LOP but for that also I literally had to share all medical reports and doctor's prescription in writing.

No respect for a person's privacy 😞 and they talk about mental wellbeing as their priority

I book seats and get waitlisted (~200) for a lot of times.
Why they are imposing these RTO rules when they don't have a proper infrastructure to handle these?
If not following RTO for this .....Ab isme bhi employee ki galti hogi?

Same here. One fine day I got booking, went to office and found it jam packed. Even cafeteria and breakouts were overflowing. I sat at the reception desk with guards to charge my laptop and attend calls.
Was so upset I wrote a scathing email to HR, who asked me to check with another workplace team, whose automatic response is "feedback noted, reach out to HR for more help".
Nobody knows anything, nobody wants to do anything. This is a deliberate attempt to get employees to miss policy guidelines so they can be punished.

HR every 6 months: buddu banaya bada maja aya..They just make us wait with false hope ..loss of time to increase anxity

IT employees ka Amrit Kaal kab aayega?😅

Same here i didn't go to office till date
