No benefits for employees
Why aren't there any out of ctc benefits for employees in tcs? This is far worse than what I imagined how it'd be. They included even insurance premium in my ctc. No reimbursements for anything,I expected atleast a broadband claim. Evrything that my previous company provided as non ctc benefits have been included in BoB here. There's no recreational space in office. Only good thing is that the stores in cafeteria provide food at a subsidised rate. A laptop with sub par specs for my work, no welcome kit and they provided a wired mouse (not that using a wireless mouse is any bad). Honestly very disappointed with the way tcs take care of their employees.
Agreed on your points, but there are some benefits which are not easily available with other services based companies. For example - good insurance policy insurance premium is very affordable and you get domicile reimbursement as well on a per person basis. Better leave count. Easy transfer to other locations (basis project availability).
Easy tranfer?? My colleague didn't get transfer at all. He even told the family situation( his father died and he has to take care of his family in other state). He went to his state and reported to the nearest branch without manager permission. After some months he resigned from the company.
That sounds horrible and shouldn't happen to anybody.
However I jotted down my experience where I got a very easy transfer to a location of my choice.
Only Thing which your previous company(and maybe any other companies) wouldn't have provided and TCS provides is the biggest if all
THE JOB SECURITY!
No where is Job security buddy. come out of dream. If you don't perform, no company will give you job security. If you are good in work, nobody will leave you as well. It's give and take. Don't believe in TCS blindly.
Agree to all. I have a friend in a firm where apart from ctc they have some wellness amount for gym and other fitness related activities, the insurance is out of ctc, they provide 50k annual cash for any product they buy from the firms related companies and they can get reimbursed.

Laptops in tcs are way below standards
U even got wires mouse i didnt get any mouse
There is not much things we can re emburse

But even now insurance premiums are getting too costly
They said from this year they're introducing co-pay and that's totally not good for us. they didn't even care to explain it during orientation. I feel for people who take insurance for their parents here and end up having to pay out of their pockets in adverse situations
They provide me used old laptop & mouse.
