Trending @Infosys; NI rating clarity
I have joined Infosys in Feb 2024 and got NI rating in Oct - Sep cycle from previous project. I am not getting variable pay. Does it make any difference i got better than NI in march- April evaluation in my current project. Will i get the variable pay for the upcoming quarters? My manager says NI was your H1 rating we will provide you H2 rating.

Rating is only given once a year in infosys. In your case October 2024 rating is from the period of October 2023 to Sep 2024. Unless you are from edgeverve who I think follow two ratings a year. In infosys we do have mid year appraisal but that is juts progress update your are not given a rating. In infosys NI rating given in oct 2024 will mean 0 variable pay Sep 2025 basically the whole year. If you edge verve maybe from April if you got better rating you will be get variable pay.
