If you get NI rating then know that infy will not entertain you much anymore. You should start searching for a job right now.DM, Manager, all these will put you on PIP. Even if you clear PIP, you will be given NI next time and will be kicked out. You can believe that in any case those with PIP do not get any performance bonus, they will not give any hike or increment for the next 2 years. It would be better to leave Infy and take up a new job. This is my personal experience.
Why people getting NI rating? Will they not perform well? Or due to politics? Really people will get NI rating?
No, people are working.But the case is such that, here in Infy the DM and manager together put the entire blame on the people at job level 3, 4 and 5. And they already make HR's mind set so much against you that they do not listen to you.

I was in Pip last year but after clearing they gave me met expectations and one of my colleague NI. Not sure about the hike though.
