After requesting multiple times to my offshore manager to release me from the project he is not releasing me what can I do next to whom I should contact ? I hadi joined as lateral but in this project there is no work in which i have expertise that’s why I want a release from this particular project . Also I am In my probation will it affect me very bad or it’s normal I hadn’t rejected any project before this is my project after joining Infy ??
Probation not the ideal time to show resistance. Can be shown as non performance and your period can be extended / or you can be fired. If you don’t like the project. Bide your time till your probation gets over . Yes it’s very doofcult to get release from projext infosys until your 18 months are over. All system and process are built not to release people based on employee interests
But you can refuse the project 3 times in Infy right ? So what will be the problem
The main problem here is, once we onboard any resource to the project. It is difficult to to conviene client to release from the project. Seems like you joined to the project less than 3 months. Client will not agree to release from the project or they will escalate on your manager. So definitely he is not ready for escalation.if you are noy getting enough if work, try to work on gig inside infy!!
You could try discussing your concerns with HR, but be ready for some resistance. Probation period can make things tricky, but it's not the end of the world.
Same thing happened to me but my manager agreed to release me after the engagement completion. But anyways i have resigned without any offer because they arent giving any hikes in last 2.5 yrs of my tenure
Try IJP and look for project that require your expertise.
