Next Layoffs for UI/UX designers ?
After watching MKBHD video this is what i feel The video editing companies i.e. vfx companies can have recession along with UI / UX designers .
I think we should scale our skills ???
Ai in ui/ux is an ongoing thing. There are a few websites and plugins that can generate template screens.
Imo this can definitely help in designing one off websites or apps. But long term design of a service or a product will need consistent hands-on iteration and high level of accountability. That requires a human. Overall i feel products like figma will definitely be making ai a core aspect of their upcoming roadmap

If you are someone who whips out figma designs for the requirements, then yeah. If you are a problem solver, who improvises the experience of the product then you won’t get laid off
AI can create layouts but far behind when it comes to UX. I tried Galileo AI, the output was very rudimentary.
Marvel Cinematic Universe will do a lot of cost cutting using this tech 🤣
