Yeah, that’s true but I want avoid screen time little bit.

Financial Times ... do not go for other newspapers, one will get bogged down by political opinions, to be point that as a reader will start to be a judge of who ia right and wrong ... a bit of political updates (very high level) and Financial world and policies

I'm a newspaper addict and have read all varieties of newspapers.I have been reading newspapers since I was 14 and now I'm 23 . Went from times of india to the Indian express then again back to times of india. TOI cost around 200 in Hyderabad and it covers mostly all the news but it has a lot of advertisements I like it because now I'm working and I feel TOI writing style is very easy and has a lot of masala news related to the city and other things . For beginners i would suggest TOI because it's very easy to read and the cost is low so no guilt even if you skip a few days due to work or you feel lazy. Indian express is not available in Hyderabad you get the new indian express, okish as it's not lengthy. The hindu mostly targets exam aspirants so you can get very in-depth articles and opinions and cost around 350 in Hyderabad. Deccan Chronicle is very south focused and costly too The same goes with decan herald . The mint and The business standard are business focused newspaper and single day paper costs around 10-15rs are very costly. Go with TOI and switch later if you make a daily habit.

Thanks for the detailed input 👍🏻

Best English - The Hindu

Avoid. Newspapers are printed to fill X number of pages with news. I used to read the paper almost every day for 15 years. Then realised it's unnecessary info. Can you remember 5 pieces of news you read in 1 year, that were actually useful to you?

I know, but screen time is getting crazy. Discipline is not my forte so just trying to create meaningful small distractions

Mint - Everything else is either Ads or Agenda

Mint or economic times.
Avoid The Hindu - leftist to the core, biased opinion articles
