New trend(Passive Hiring) - taking all interviews and then not responding

Hey guys, Facing this new trend, even after giving multiple rounds and performing great. No final feedback or offer received. Some other companies have not scheduled managerial rounds after clearing technical round. Happened with me in couple of companies. On the other hand, Interviews are getting stricter if something not right in any of the interviews it is a straight reject. I think there are too many candidates and recruiter are not in hurry to fill position they are in wait and watch mode. It's like passive hiring that is happening recruiters/companies are open for great deals.

Candidates had their time during Covid. Recruiters were running behind candidates offering 100% 200%. Candidates were easily ignoring the accepted offers and joined the company with highest offer. Demand > supply

Now the recruiters are having their time. Demand < supply.

They are in habit of doing this shit with every candidate. I think we should start taking HR names here.

I understand the emotion but may not be good to make it that personal however on the other hand recruiter should inform candidates about their final decision be it reject or accept

Yeah same experience,

Completing all the interview rounds with great feedback, but still they say they got some other more experienced candidate during offer stage.
Yet the job opening is still on the careers page.

And some companies are taking interviews as a Strict Test or Exam, no collaborative behaviour by interviewers towards the candidate.

And many are trying to hire senior engineers for mid level role and mid level engineers for junior roles.

IT industry is completely messed up.
