New tax regime -87A

Hi all, I joined TCS a month ago. As per new tax regime under 87a salary up to 7 lpa income tax is zero . But in August payslip income tax deduction is there . So how to apply for 87a from ultimatix to get income tax redemption?

You can't apply for 87A directly in Ultimatix. It's automatic if your income is below ₹7 LPA. Check your declarations and raise a ticket with HR if deductions persist.
