New project issue back to back calls
I had a brain stroke about one and half years back. The new project i joined about 10/15 days back is having continuous calls from 5pm to 10 pm
Also 2 to 5 there are internal calls for work. The timing is from 12 to 9 Bcoz of these continuous calls m having headaches and feeling drained
What can be done in thsis scenario???? Likei do want to let them knowtha i jave a medical history and cannot be on call for so long …
@JitWorld_reddevil - Genuine suggestion is to have good relationship with managers/client who is assigning you task.
For example - in my project we don't care about manager in TCS, because it's client lead who gives us work, and tracks.
Hence, you maintain good relationship with client lead, by good relationship I mean connect with him/her personally. Just drop a msg on teams like hey, can we have a quick 15 mins connect on your preferred time. I would like to discuss about my role in the project.
And before you say your issue, first ask him/her what's their expectation/goal. Then you tell them gently that ofcourse I'm aligned but I assume as my manager (tcs) might have conveyed to you I just recovered from ____, and hence it would be great if I can skip x and y meetings and focus on the work to deliver directly to you. What do you think? This will show you my expertise and I can get things done quickly.
Bro, also the TCS manager mightn't have shared it with client lead, but say that anyway as if it's obvious from your side.
End of the day, 90% of problems are solved with good relations. Take me for an example - I have 67% rto, not an amazing guy, but I get work done, and yet I got A band in first year of joining TCS (C2).
The thing is, if you can manage somehow to bring out that trust from client/manager whoever is decision maker, you are gold.
If not, I say bluntly, just be on meetings and don't listen, prepare for some other role slowly.
And after a month or two switch.

Attend only critical call. Talk when reqired.
