Trending @Accenture; New organization, new project and landed on leading a bunch of egoistic and aggressive senior resources.

I have recently joined as lead with 13+ YOE. Meanwhile I’m trying to jell up with everyone. l come across a few mates working from ages in the same organisation and have no sense of behaving or good gesture with new joiners. I can completely handle this situation as time goes and I move forward. I have prior experiences as lead. Greeting the new joiners with respect and helping them settle down in the team comes naturally from some people. Today I’m realising its importance when I needed it the most for me in new organisation/ new city/ away from my kid and family. Not a big deal, though I feel it’s missing.

I have been here for 8+ years. And I feel it's due to the new joiners actually that has caused this problem. 'Respect for the individual' was like a rule of the law under previous CEO Pierre. Now it's just something that comes up in a training, sad. Accenture did a lot of horrible hiring post pandemic and these new/lateral joiners have brought their toxic work culture from their previous organizations and settled here. Meanwhile respected individuals from here left after being treated like a slave.

Accenture is no longer a 'special' company to work like it used to be. Same types of pay, hikes, culture, opportunities. Nothing that makes this company stand out anymore.

Hope this organization is better than your old. Cheers!

Respect is key, bro. Show them how it's done. 💪
