Trending @Capgemini; New offer 9 year 32 lakhs
Seems Capgemini is ready to offer anything to new joining but not to existing employees, expecting lots of resignation. My friend with 9 years of experience got 32 lakh offer today from Capgemini. Should he join?

I'm 9.5yrs total yoe (java, springboot microservices & cloud) with 16lpa but HR said, Capgemini chose not to invest in me this year for 2024 appraisal cycle.. but company can invest in new joiners 2x my CTC...
I feel for you. You should have been 64bit now, but you are still 32bit.(No pun intended)
Met some new people, recently joined with around same experience 1 at 35LPA another at 30LPA. They joined at C2 level. I think 32LPA is pretty decent.
And companies will hire someone new with a high package but they will not retain existing employees by giving a good hike. This is a harsh reality which is not new in the industry.
