new joiness in TCS joining date postponed to October 2nd week

my friend got selected in TCS and the joining date was given on Jul 14th. But he didn't receive an onboarding email. But Today he received a call from hr team and he confirmed that the organization decided that who is joining in july the joining will be postponed to next quarter october 2nd week.
