New joiner query: Non-billable phase & MMC SH00 onboarding timeline

Hi folks, I recently joined Zensar and am currently in a non-billable phase. I initially received an internal allocation related to MMC, which later got updated internally to MMC SH00. My manager mentioned that my profile has been shared with the client, and meanwhile I’ve been asked to refresh the JD aligned to my role and complete mandatory Zensar trainings. I wanted to understand from others who have joined recently or worked on similar setups: Is this kind of non-billable waiting period common for new joiners? After profile sharing, how long does client onboarding usually take? Have you seen internal project/tag changes (like MMC to MMC SH00) before becoming billable? Any inputs from people who’ve gone through a similar phase would be really helpful. Thanks in advance.
