New bench policy in TCS

It’s been a month since I’ve been unallocated at TCS. I took a release from my previous project to explore new job opportunities outside, and shortly after, the new bench policy was introduced. Policies seem to be changing frequently now. I’m concerned—will they really terminate employees who don’t get allocated within 35 days? I’ve seen people who’ve been unallocated for over 5 months. What are your thoughts? Any idea what the best course of action would be?
