Never trust any manager

I was recently interviewed from one of the BFSI account after being released from my current bfsi account where they promised promotion nomination in August and released me in July 🤣🤣 expecting me to work in support with all 1-2 yr experienced people around, me being 1e yr experienced

Now this new account manager was insisting me to take client evaluation when I was on sick leave, attended the CE and cleared it. Client was also interested after the interview.

Manager informed that client has selected me, and said they were impressed with your evaluation. You please confirm to anyone if they call you that you have been confirmed and said he will even initiate onsite, but not immediately but after some time

For 4 days no allocation was added and no other calls were coming as lock was initiated for me by him, I asked him that if this position is not confirmed let me know so that I can approach other accounts.

He insisted that its confirmed and he is seeking approval. Next day he messaged me saying by evening the approval should come and meanwhile said even if rmg or anyone forces to attend evaluation from any other account tell them you have been confirmed for my account.

Another day gone and he again messaged saying allocation will be finalized today evening.

9 days gone no allocation given, lock was released yet he still says that he is working on getting approval from client and there in no response from client.

10 days period wasted on bench waiting for allocation, Since he kept messaging himself I was under an impression that this is confirmed

Unless something is written in email like confirmed for project from manager, you should keep on attending interviews. Else , later hr or rmg will call and ask why unallocated?

That is the problem he has sent all messages on whatsapp but nothing on email.

Let it be , whatever happened, next time dont trust people especially tcs management, its your life lesson which you learnt in just 10 days, compared to some souls who learnt after 10 years in the company... I hope you know what to do next.

What is your Grade? If C3A or above he can even say something and not on board you. Get the email confirmation from him on TCS mail that he is on boarding you. By the way what lock he has put and where?

In the talent marketplace, they are capturing details like how many accounts you rejected, how many times you were rejected in client evaluations

It also says that you have chance to decline upto 3 times and thereafter you wont habe tje option to decline any project

Looks like these are the new tactics to deliberately waste the bench days and layoff people
