Never saw such response from RMG when asked for transfer for which they declined as my stay is less 2 years unlike others which they did
Bro you are really stupid. You have to ask them to give it in an email. If you have completed 18 months then you are eligible for a transfer to a new location. RMG are the biggest piles of shit and on a power trip.
Depends upon project, if your delivery manager will pressurize the regional RMG. They'll approve.
If project wants associate to move, associate must raise company initiated transfer. It has some monetary benefits as well.
If associate wants to move. Then to project will ask to raise self initiated transfers.
This is very strange case. If your project allows you generally RMG should not stop you. Please send a mail to your HR, Manager, supervisor requesting the same approval. It can happen if your BU head approves. Everything is possible when it's business and by higher management
They directly went ahead asking their senior Regional RMG who rejected the request just because of my serving period in base location which is less than 2 years compared to my overall experience which is more than 2 years in TCS..
But what if we report to DC other than deputy location, attendance will not count?
I am planning to get a transfer, HR said once you complete 2 years, you can raise a request. ( from project perspective no issues, as ODC in desired location and already discussed with manager)
Bro the one you are referring to is project DC when allocated yes it will be tracked by the management of the same and coming to transfer as already by the other members in this group have you have to make your management to support strongly in this regard as RMGs are nothing but puppets in the hands of their seniors.. that's why if it still doesn't work will be left with only option of changing your work location to ur convenience...And after that would suggest to just move on by preparing for a switch from the current one..
And i changed my location in 6 month after joining tcs .. since then WFH..lol… its alll luck bro

Bro i have Already mentioned above which is less than min serving period but recently i have grabbed a project where they are also providing a transfer which is actually my desired location but here on other hand is refusing to give because of the same that i mentioned above
HRs in TCS are very bad.. they dnt have basic sense, forget about ethics
And this is solely for project requirement not the one that I need to raise based on my choice for the same.
