Never had to drag myself to work on Mondays.

In my 7 yoe in working in embedded systems domain, never had to drag myself to work. Work used to be fun, interesting and mostly satisfying. All those midnight hard fault triages, seeing your PID algo to slay demo etc. What changed now? Joined Qualcomm recently. I thought with Qualcomm I will be doing cutting edge Work. Nope ,Work is monotonous and mostly not that engaging, just repeated work under the manager who probably thinks I am slacking. I am not saying I only work few hours (come on its Qualcomm, even your weekends don't belong to you) all I am saying is, it's not mentally engaging enough and it's not fun. As I am writing this, I am mentally preparing to drag myself to another non fun week.

Do you guys know any companies that make their engineers feel work like fun challenge?
