Network domain or related work

Hi, I work in Cisco as Software Engineer. My work involves mostly C/C++ and networking concepts. Let's say if i want to switch which are the companies i can go for or which domain i can get job i.e. Network Engineer or Security Engineer? Those who are working and are of some experienced can provide the feedback on this that would be really helpful. I like the work in network domain but will i get the opportunities just how frontend/backend/full stack engineer would get? Some companies that i know: Arista Networks Juniper You can add the list here!

Blunt advice

I'm planning to learn backend.

  1. After backend basics, which language and framework should I start with
  2. Should I have to learn front end technologies too?

From google getting very generic response.
