Negotiating Job Offers: Cognizant vs Wipro
Hi community, I have received job offers from both Cognizant and Wipro, and I'm considering joining either company in NCR. If I receive a better offer from Wipro, can I negotiate with Cognizant to match their offer? Has anyone else had a similar experience?
Karo, if the location is convenient, little difference in ctc doesn't matter. Location matters a lot for work life balance.
Hey, don’t forget to negotiate on notice period duration. Its 3 months here in CTS. Also, what tech stack and job profile have you received an offer off here in CTS? Your overall relevant work ex. and the ctc they offered?
You're a consultant so I am guessing your EXP would be somewhere around 8-15 Y and the position CTS have offered might be of a Manager or Sr Manager.
Don’t choose Wipro
don't join wipro, too much politics and if you're on bench life become hell
Are you a SAP consultant? If yes, then which domain?
Join cognizant it is far much better than Wipro and TCS for senior level people. Also, CTC is quite descent if you come after switch
