Needed help from seniors and HRs

So, I joined TCS in Jan 2024 as a fresher on base location A, due to some family health problem I got approval from HR for 3 months to report from my home based location at location B following all the compilance rules here, now the time of 3 months is about to complete, no one from my project ( which is at Location X) want me to report back from my base location but my unit's portfolio manager is behind me asking me to come back immediately at Location A. As my family health condition is not improved much what can I do.

Or if I put my resignation papers, would i have to serve my notice period on location A or can continue here at location B in notice period.
