Need your suggestions

Hi guys,

One of my friend had recently interviewed for NTT data and got selected. But now the HR is saying that they are yet to get ATS approval from Hiring manager and delaying the offer letter while on a call previously HR said he will be getting joining from 10th of July. My friend is really worried now, What are your suggestions should he go for another companies interview or wait for the offer letter?
