Hi guys, a quick intro about myself:
I’m the founder of a B2B talent marketplace that helps businesses connect with vetted agencies and freelancers for services like design, video, development, and marketing. I’m a tier-1 college graduate and have been building this for about a year now. We’ve generated revenue and worked with over 50 startups so far.
Here’s the problem I kept noticing:
- Startups often have bad experiences with freelancers.
- Deadlines slip, quality isn’t consistent, and communication breaks down.
- On the other side, freelancers take on too much and underdeliver because they’re always chasing new clients.
So I decided to build something better:
A tech platform where:
- Businesses get matched to one best-fit freelancer or agency using AI
- Matches are based on skill, budget, timeline, and past project relevance
- A project dashboard tracks everything in one place
- Our team adds a human layer for support and delivery
- We also offer white-label infra for agencies and creators
The goal is to scale this into a high-trust, execution-focused platform. Distribution will be a big part of that. I’ve worked on content-led products before, so I understand how to leverage platforms like LinkedIn, YouTube, and Instagram to build brand trust and inbound.
Would love feedback on two things:
- Does the model sound practical and fundable?
- Any advice on raising as a non-tech founder with early revenue and insight?
Thanks a lot for reading. Happy to share more if anyone’s curious.
