Need urgent help
3 months ago I took a L1 project to get a B band as I am digital, my manager said that I have to stay in this project for 2 years, I told him to give immediate release as I am given false hope that I would be given better opportunity here, and no one mentioned that I have to stay here for 2 years, I told my manager I can work any longer cause of these reasons, he said you should work business as usual and HR action will be taken, I said I am willing to take HR action as I can explain them, he sent a mail stating the same saying that I am reluctant to work and hr action will be taken, and asked me to respond to that for HR escalation. What do I do what are the consequences, how do I proceed?
My manager once loudly in the odc asked me why I'm late by 10 mins to the office, I replied that I went to the washroom, He told are you a lady? Going to the washroom before shift.., I laughed it off then as everyone was laughing, I told him on teams now that I did not like it when you asked me like that infront of everyone, also told 30 mins lunch is not possible as the canteen serves late and when I tried to tell this to my lead about this he said he will not accept any excuses, after the discussion I replied to the mail, saying I was not told that I have to stay for 2 years in project & also promised falsely that I will be given better opportunity, also i did not like the culture of few people in the team and this is affecting my mental health as I am waking up in the middle of the nights thinking of all these things, so I requested to get released immediately.
When managers have budget issues, how are they giving release to employees??? At that time where is 18 month policy....make mistakes in project work.... you'll automatically get the release...🤣🤣🤣🤣 Delete the data .... you'll get a quick release from project 😜
Dont go to HR my suggestion is. They are all mixed up. HR can ask you to leave the organisation by giving 3m salary. This happened to me as I rejected to accept project due to location constraints.

Yes I joined on april 12th last year and after 5d of bench I got one project and I rejected as office was too far from my home HR was simply saying that when you are not billable leave tcs I said I will serve notice then he was saying if you are not billable why should I give chance for notice. I said I was having other offer I will leave he was saying pay 3m salary and leave as you are leaving you should buyout notice period finally after discussing with management I joined same project
I joined one of the support projects(I am not aware that it's a support project) because the Project manager told me it'll be a development/ML project. Once joined, I got to know it's a support project only.
I got the release within 10 days from the project even though my NDA, VDI created, Drug Test, etc all done..
I connected with my Hiring HR, She helped me in getting the release.
So I don't think there is any clause which restricts you leaving the project before a certain period(plz check your project policy).

As per my knowledge, if anyone newly joins tcs , so what ever project.that they are tagged to initially, they have to work in that unit for 2 years.
And regarding the mail, you please drop the valid reason of your aspiration role you are looking for and the experience you are Holding.
Mostly HR will suggest you to enroll for wings 1 or wings2 and proceed further for your career aspiration
Wings1 and wings2 are a scam as they're doing literally anything on the behalf of policies..

First of All don't take in an argument mode. Handle things professionally. Words once spoken will be taken up in diff directions so be careful. Also in general the cooling period is 18 Months for a project parallelly check with HR for other options. Best wishes.
Aap kisi junior ko preshan kro phir vo senior bank wahi junior ke saath kre this will go long and long. Better if we fight for the culture not only the behaviour issue.
This is our generation we should take the responsibility whatever we have gone through should not repeat with anyone.For just sake of satisfying personal ego anyone should not destroy others carrier.
