Trending @Accenture; Need Urgent Advice – HR Asked Me to Resign/ LayOff

Hi all,

I just got a call from HR. She asked me to resign today itself as I’ve been on bench for 4 months. She said I’ll get 5 months' salary if I resign and mention a medical or personal reason in the email.

I’m currently at career level 11 and don’t have any offer in hand right now. I’m confused what should I do? Also Hr has asked to make it confidential I don't know what to do now.

Any quick suggestions would really help. Thanks!

Ask the HR if they are giving 5 months full salary or basic salary. There's a huge difference. Also, I think you dont need to panic. You work in a corporate to eventually get a salary at month end, right? You're getting the next three or five months salary in advance. Consider it as your personal notice period and keep aggressively applying for jobs. Instead I would say, you would be a great candidate for other companies since you'll be an immediate joiner. Companies follow the tails of immediate joiners. If you crack something in one month or two, overall you're in benefit only. Got 5 months advance salary and joined the next company in 2 months only. Means 3 months ki extra free salary mil gyi..think of the positive side and don't worry

If you are already in the HR list then it’s advisable to resign and take compensation what they are offering. You can try your best but that will be of no use so its better to resign and move.

Utilise that compensation amount to upskill and get better offer.

Hi, I've received a similar call too and I asked them if i can resign via Accenture portal. For that, instead of giving a straight answer, they are saying that sending mail is the process. My question is if I resign through the portal, will I be eligible for the notice period pay. And whether I can or can't apply for resignation through the portal. Please suggest ASAP

The fact that they say these things in a call, what's the proof that you'll be given 3 or 5 months salary? Asking out of curiosity, how does this works?

Are they providing basic salary or full salary of 3 months. And do you need to serve 3 months notice period in that case?
