Need to resign and break the 1 year bond.

Hi all,

One of my friends got a government job now he has to join in the job within a month. What is the process to resign from the company, can he break 1 year bond and release from the TCS and can he skip the notice period? If yes, what is the process?

It's like a wolf wearing a sheep skin. Just for saying it's Gov but at least I think 70% won't agree

Its a complete waste of time and energy if you try to take initiative here because of few seniors unwilling to adopt better ways to work. Kaam aisa aur itna karo ki salary zada lage.. Funda simple hai 30% janta mein aane ke liye.

Your friend can resign but breaking the 1 year bond will require paying a penalty. He cannot skip the notice period, must serve it or buy it out. Process is to inform manager and HR immediately.

It's upto him. He can simply stop showing up at the job. TCS in 99% cases won't press legally, in fact, they'd burn more money hiring lawyers and what not. I know a person who did the same for starting his own business. But, on the off chances that they do, things might not take a soft turn.
