Apply through portal .if manager is diff than people lead then inform your manager.

There is no manager ,he is on bench

Then apply directly on portal and ask HR if he can get early release. Bench people get early release if no dependancy.

Apply on the service now portal, after sending an official email looping your hr manager, people lead...as per the Exit manager resignation will get approved automatically even if ur lead don't approve it
