Need to know responsibility for C3B

Hi , I recently joined TCS as Oracle consultant with designation C3B (Associate consultant). May I know what are role and duties for this role. One more question. I was senior consultant for 6+ years . But in tcs for my overall 11 years experience they offered me associate consultant . May I know why they having this much difference in roles when compare with other companies ?
