Need this particular crash badly

Everyone is talking about IT crash, real state crash and what not. I so badly want restaurant market to crash. Masala dosa at ₹85 and goes over 120₹ at a SELF SERVICE place, single vada at 40₹ in Bangalore!! Charging dosa as if it’s an imported commodity!! Even a road side stall charges similar price!! I know one could argue that make ur own food, but it’s not possible for everyone and many depends on restaurant due to their work. Just venting out here after hearing the gpay ting sound that I paid for one dosa!!

Masala dosa at 85 ? You entitled rich kid goes to an entitled egoistic restaurant and eats masala dosa at their expensive pricing, and you come here crying about it ?

I've been in this city for almost 15yrs now. Never been to a place where they charge more than 50rs for masala dosa. Heck I feel even 50rs is high, but given the shitty state of how well our "govt" is handling the financial situation of the country and how well its using the tax money for the "development" of the country, I guess that's acceptable rate for now.

Maybe if people like you stop being introverts and also stop going to such glorified places (for ex Rameshwaram cafe), and maybe spend time exploring other places around the city, you might find that there are far more no. of food stalls, outlets and sit outs that offer quality food without charging you a dime.

And also, just because you earn well, doesn't mean you'll have to spend exorbitantly to get quality service 🙂

Hold your horses man!! First of all, it’s not even the overpriced Rameshwaram cafe, I was talking about!! I was referring to a regular Udupi upahar and I even mentioned abt the road side dosa (99 variety) where ordering a masala dosa with one extra topping touches more than ₹85. Guess instead of moral policing with your perceived cool attitude in yapping about how u know the nook and corner of cheap hotels in blr, give enough time in understanding what’s being talked abt!!

So true. A plate roti curry used to cost 40 rs in my area in 2020. Now it is 80. Idly was 10/- now 20.

They are charging as if mocking us "ghar me bannane ka aukat hai?"...
