Need suggestions on the process to claim medical insurance
I have got diagnosed with some medical issue which needs a surgery for correction! I am stranded not knowing how to apply/proceed for cashless claim from tcs Health insurance ! Do I have to seek advice from my lead/manager or some here with the knowledge in this matter can comment pls
Login to medibuddy in ultimatix.
Go to network hospitals tab. You can download the excel or give the area name of your hospital.
If your hospital is in this list , you are eligible for cashless. Your hospital will have an insurance agent who will do almost all the work for you. (You may need to pay some refundable deposit . I recently did a cashless surgery. 35k cost. 32k was approved. I paid the remaining 3k. 5k was the refundable deposit).
If your hospital is not in this list, you can refer to the checklist of documents in the same site (like diagnosis, prescription, test reports, all the bills of them). You have to pay for the surgery and then attach all these documents and submit it for claim.
