Need suggestions on the below situation

Hi all,

Actually right now i am family medical emergency in which my mom and my grand maa is on bed & i requested my team lead & my manager for early release from project. My lead approved the release & client also approved that but my manager set the release date to 2-oct-2025 don’t know why. Currently now the situation at home is not at all good and i have to put down my papers before release but i am confused ki should i resign now or resign after release. Don’t know what will be the situation in both scenarios. So i need honest suggestions and opinions of your to help me in this situation.
