Trending @Infosys; Need suggestions about project work
So I have been working on a project for the last 3 years. Recently my manager hired one new member to team which is TL in position. He is yet to be on boarded on client network so he is using my credentials to check in and deployment.
Even though he has 8 years of experience he is very bad at coding and even he is doing mess in project each Day and not following client guidelines.
Now the issue is that as he is using my credentials so my name is getting damaged in front of client.
I am also in fear of losing my credibility in front of client.
How should i deal with this case?
Informed team lead and manager they said they will talk to him. But they have been doing this since last 3 months.
The new member is just considering me as his competitor so he is just damaging my name on the client side. He is doing politics here.
But he can't take my role in the near future because i had a good relationship with client team.
How to deal with this case?

There is this training also which is mandatory, cant recollect the name- its mentioned time and again that under no circumstances are we supposed to share credentials with anyone, be it anyone! I hope your manager is aware of this. Dont land yourself in soup, keep everything in black and white! Be smart bud.

I don't know about the manager. But the lead asked me to share it. I even asked him over email . I just had proof of email.

Under no circumstances You are supposed to give your credentials to anyone. Not even your manager. Just change your password and dont give again. If they question take it to HR. They cant do anything. If anything happens they will catch you first for giving your credentials. Its a policy violation bro.

you should not share your credentials in any condition, if that other person is part of team they should have their own, or ask your pm to give their credentials
