Need suggestions

I am currently working in TCS Australia under deputation and I got an opportunity to travel uk from here. But I want to secure my place in Australia but management not giving commitment that I can come back to Australia… What should I do? Should I go to uk and continue or stay in Australia? If Australia I will be able to stay for next 2 years but in uk I may able to stay for 5 years.

Are they flying you from Australia to UK or Australia to India then to UK, if latter than be careful as it could be a trick to bring you back at offshore. Preference would be to get everything done from Australia itself if not atleast get the visa stamped and then only travel to India.
