Need suggestions
I have been working in TCS for the last 5 years. I got released from a project because there was not much work and I asked for the release and they gave me in the ramp down. I got into a new project and I am very satisfied with the quality of work. I have a total of 9.5 YOE in Salesforce but my salary is approx 16LPA which is way less than my skills and standard of the technology. I got an offer from Capgemini of 23LPA.
Cons in TCS are:
- Less salary.
- Huge variable deduction for C3A.
- they are forcing for 5 days and 9hrs even if there is no ODC. There are days when I sit in lobby to do my work when meeting rooms are occupied.
Pros:
1.good quality work.
2. Good medical policy compared to Capgemini.
3. Good number of Salesforce projects so long term stability also looks good.
On the other hand there is uncertainty what kind of work I will get in Capgemini, at this stage in my career I need some stability as well. Should I take this leap of faith and join Capgemini or What should I do. I need your suggestions.

switch asap.. TCS is no longer a good place to work.

I think Saleforce is skill in demand.. if you are not confident about capgemini- you can try other companies to switch duitng your notice period…i think weightage of cons here is bigger than pros .. at least to me

Yeah once I am on notice period I can try for other companies also. Capgemini is good company but the fear of unknown is bothering me.
