Need suggestion with cross training in Oracle HCM cloud core HR module. If anyone is currently working, please suggest.

I am currently in bench. Current tech is in niche space but the expectation at my level is having good development and customization knowledge and due to some reasons I have no coding background and less than 6 months of project exp in current tech due to which its a struggle, hence projects are not willing to take me due to less hands on and exp. I got this opportunity to cross training in Oracle HCM HR module. Should i go with cross training? Can anyone please suggest. I have total 3.5 yoe. I am confused. Ps: I am not good with coding/developmnt.
