I am working as an associate level 12 in a support project. Generally there is more escalation occurring in the Project. I am working on a project from SAP Backend support as well as handling tickets. From the initial days itself I don't like to work in the project. Only two people handling the SAP backend including me. One analyst and me and the analyst have been working on the project for almost more than 4 years. It's only one year for me for the project. Right now she is gonna take maternity leave. So the team is pushing me to handle everything alone in upcoming days , the fun fact is they hired one more associate instead of an analyst to help me. Even though I don't have that much knowledge of the application, in this I should take KT and train new associate alone with me.
How to quit from the project, right now. I got frustrated from the last 15 days. Even though my mind convinced me to work on the project, my heart says nothing to learn here ðŸ˜ðŸ¥º. Please any one say how to quit the project. The next 6 months is gonna hell for me if I don't quit the project or do a switch.

Support projects are hell in IT world.... Once u trap u have to find ways to escape. Just direct talk with your manager that i want to switch into new domain or technology as i don't see my future in suport role. He is will try to scare you and all but you should directly say no. Drop an mail to HR and SM with proper reason. See you r still associate so you can still join new project they will teach you from scratch and not expect much. But first Just examine yourself why u want leave, is it to relive stress, due to workload or due to money. If you think you are getting good knowledge in this project then be relax just work in your job hours and keep informing manger that this things will be possible at this much of time as i am only one working and new joinnee don't know much and it will take time to teach him..... Be safe. Play carefully

Better start preparing from next company and switch and work less in your current project , if escalation happens than say I can't handle alone , i need experienced guys ... so then this will be headache for higher management, then they will surely add someone to cop-up this situation
