Hi , I am new to TCS and having 17+ years of experience. Joined TCS as cloud data engineering architect . My first project successfully went live and now I am into another one and joined here as architect too. However slowly I am realising that in TCS tech lead/ architect all are same. The entire delivery responsibility will come to you and PM and DMs will keep hunting you without having any technical knowledge. Hence I am thinking to join my next assignment as Technical Project Manager and not as Architect. Please suggest what you think of this.
You have to adjust with the environment if you want to sustain as with 17 YOE you will have to play technical + management role.
