Trending @HCL; Need suggestion -- Is relocating good from Hyderabad to Bangalore good?
Me and my wife currently working in Hyderabad with two years kid and my parents expect me to settle near my sister in Bangalore Whitefield area. We both working with average or below average pay me 35 age with 18lpa my wife 32 with 13lpa and her office don't have any other locations except Hyderabad. I fear of living expenses and personal stress staying close to sibling on regular basis. On the other hand struggling to grow in career which is not happening? Literally it's been many years i slept peacefully.
Cost of living in Blr is high for sure. And your wife needs to look for an opportunity in Blr and it totally depends on role/requirements etc. If you can manage that with your salary then yes.
You should also consider schooling of your kid, down the line, tuition fee expenses which I think will be even more in Blr.
My suggestion is, look for a better opportunity in Blr with a decent hike for you both and then make the switch.
Simple it’s not enough in Bengaluru…period…and parents expectation is to be beside sibling expect additional expenditure 😀. Unless you both earn 45L - 50L it’s going to be difficult. With AI looming around. Ensure your job stability. Upskill, learn and then move with a better salary
