Trending @Capgemini; Need suggestion
I joined CG 3 years back as B2 consultant. I am having 8 years of experience as a senior iOS developer. My client HSBC is happy with my work and we(as a team) were one of the core reason for their last year performance since we deliver great work. CG is aware about it.
Even after hard work my designation hasn’t been upgraded from last 3 years and in last straight 2 years I have received 1.98 & 2.89 percentage as a hike.
My teammates has not only received the promotion but good hike as well last year. I have been in constant discussion with my manager last year about all the work and even asked him what could I do more to get the designation upgrade. He kept on telling that you should expect this year. Yet I haven’t received it.
I informed about it to N+1 as well. In return N+1 said that you should get it and noted my name last month.
I have even informed about it to the HR. I think I have done whatever I could.
I just need the recognition which I deserve. And I feel bad that even after the good work I have to ask for it everytime.
Any genuine suggestions will be highly appreciated. If it reach to someone from higher management kindly suggest authentic way to tackle this situation.

I feel for you pal, this is just not done!
Speak to your N+2 or 3, whose band is at least D2 or above, along with your N+1, echo your feelings and tell them what you feel and how demotivated you are and that it is making it difficult for you to work here and you just wanted to ensure that you speak to your leaders before you take any step.
After that - two things:
- Your Leaders start fighting for you - if they care for you and the project
- You start hunting for a job
Let it be a race - see who wins - either way - the outcome will be good for you!
Good luck!

Yeah i agree, this is best advice for you in this case

Jus find another opportunity n put the papers ! N leave the place. If you feel being treated unfair is ok then stay else simply resign. The situation you mentioned is same for most employees of CG. Unfortunately.
