Need suggestion
I have 9YOE. working in TCS from last 5 years. I am satisfied with the work, recognition I am getting here. The only issue is less salary. I have 16LPA salary and I have some financial responsibilities and for the same reason I want to switch. But my concern is ...is it right time to switch because I have seen many cases where other company is hiring and keeping resource on bench. Some companies are firing resources after keeping them on bench for 4-5 months after joining. Need some serious suggestions.
Ask for onsite if you have aspiration..that will help you financially....
1.If you're trying to switch out of here, ensure that there are projects related to your domain or the best way is to contact known people for referral to their projects.
2.If fear of laying off is on ur mind, try for an onsite opportunity for temporary salary change( I would recommend to keep on extending ur onsite opportunity once formalities are done or switch to local company in that country)
