Need Suggesion

Hello, after ML got tagged as a production support role to account where dev started from scratch. Dev is going on and nothing to work on right now. The one who is going to handle production support said that work is not started yet you can take it easy and come for 4 to 5 hours.

Is this okay? Just need a suggestion.
